BXB conferencing solutions selected by the Turkish DSI

TURKEY: Commonly referred to as the DSI, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources recently called upon Sekan Elektronik Ltd to install a conferencing system into one of its debating chambers, for which they selected 26 FCS-3000 units from Taiwanese manufacturer BXB Electronics, operating through an FCS-3051 main control unit.
The DSI is charged with developing all water and land resources within Turkey. Schemes and projects include irrigation, hydroelectric power generation, domestic and industrial water supplies together with recreation and research on water-related planning.
Established in the early 1990s, Sekan Elektronik Ltd is a supplier for OYAK Holding. Director Mr Okan commented on its choice of conferencing system for this particular application. ‘We have been cooperating with BXB for approximately 10 years, during which time we have grown to trust the quality, reliability and durability of their products. On this particular occasion, I suggested to our customer that the FCS-3000 would be easy to install with DIN type cable. Furthermore, I assured our client that the FCS-3000 would offer the best performance courtesy of the Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) feature integrated into the units, whereby should more than 10 microphones be open during a discussion, the system can still operate without any problems. None of the BXB units that we have supplied and installed over the past eight years have been replaced or broken’.
In addition to integrating a speaker into its design, the FCS-3016 chairman unit integrates an LCD screen allowing the chairman to see how many microphones are switched on at any given time and which microphone is talking, whilst simultaneously switching the delegate microphones on and off. Other features include sound effects processing, fast dome positioning control and graphic control software.
