CCG adds to Midas inventory

QATAR: Doha-based Creative Communication Group (CCG) has recently added to its existing Midas inventory with a further significant investment. The purchase was made through Middle East distributor Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK).
The rental house purchased a broad range of Midas equipment including a new Pro 9 control surface, two sets of the DL431 5-way mic splitter, a DL252 output box as well as a Klark Teknik DN9696 96 channel multi-track recorder and DN9650 network bridge.
The solution got its first test at the recent Majida El Roumi concert in Katara, Doha where it was used in conjunction with CCG’s existing Pro6 live audio system. The solution provided the rental company with a redundant and flexible routing system which most importantly delivered the sonic quality it required.
‘Since 2007, CCG have had Midas consoles in their inventory which started with the Heritage 3000, Legend 3000 and Verona,’ commented Chicco Hiranandani, business development manager at NMK. ‘With the new investment, the company now has a comprehensive Midas Digital Solution that includes the new Pro 9, an existing Pro 6 and a number of Midas I/O box solutions providing them the ultimate flexibility for the various high profile shows they produce.’
This is not the only recent investment made by CCG. On the audio side the rental company has also added an Avalon VP737 SP, while for lighting it has made a significant investment in moving heads. The lighting investment includes products from Clay Paky, Vari*Lite and Robe.
