Charbel Zogbhi to represent Philips Entertainment

MENA: Charbel Zogbhi will represent Philips Entertainment as regional sales manager for the Middle East and North Africa. The new role will see Mr Zogbhi take responsibility for the manufacturer’s Selecon, Strand Lighting, Vari-Lite and Showline brands in the region.

‘Philips needed someone with a good knowledge of the market who lives in the region,’ explained Mr Zoghbi. ‘I will be able to follow up very quickly with any sales enquiries and also work to develop the dealer network.’

According to the new regional sales manager, one of his first jobs is to raise awareness of the Philips Entertainment brands in the region. ‘These are good brands with good products. The main idea is to grow the dealer business and offer support to clients, consultants and systems integrators during projects and after sales.’

He believes his appointment is a sign that the manufacturer is taking the region more seriously as it looks to grow its market share. ‘It is a good opportunity on all levels,’ he concluded.
