Creamfields calls on V-Dosc

UAE: Abu Dhabi’s annual Creamfields dance festival once again called on a solution from L-Acoustics for its PA. Event organiser Flash Entertainment turned to Dubai-based rental house Delta Sound to cover the concert.
The one day event had a different setup from the 2011 festival. There were two stages to cover for Creamfields Abu Dhabi 2012 – one fewer than the previous year – and the alignment of the stages meant that spillage was less of an issue for the audio team.
For the main stage the sound setup was very similar to the previous year – also covered by Delta. Two hangs of 10 L-Acoustics V-Dosc cabinets provided the main reinforcement with three dV-Dosc cabinets per side providing downfill. dV-Dosc cabinets were also used to provide frontfill along the stage lip. Low-end reinforcement was courtesy of SB218 subs arranged in an arc configuration.
