D-Gym calls on Ertekin

TURKEY: D-Gym at Istanbul’s Etiler Maya Residence has been equipped with a variety of equipment from Ertekin. Some of the highlights of the project at the gym, spa and fitness centre are line arrays from dBTechnologies, speakers and amplifiers from Audac and mixers from Yamaha.
The project was designed and installed by the distributor’s dealer, Digitron Elektronik, alongside Ertekin. ‘This is an elite project for a very famous gym in Istanbul,’ said Ertekin project manager, Murat Colak. ‘The systems were designed by Digitron in collaboration with the architect and our company. We always planned to use quality products and designed the solution to offer a great scenario for this project.’
The dBTechnologies equipment has been installed to cover the sports hall. The space is covered by 12 DVA T8 active line array modules with low end via four DVA S10 active subs. A further eight Chromo 10+ and five Sub 12 D cabinets from the manufacturer have also been installed. The Audac side of the project has involved a variety of the manufacturer’s speakers, amplifiers and wall panels as well as the M2 multimedia digital audio mixer and the APM108MK2 digital paging microphone and can be seen throughout the venue.
‘The biggest reason for choosing dB Technologies was the line array products in its range,’ offered Mr Colak. ‘Audac’s M2 gave us the chance to play music and broadcast TV in a different zones around the facility.’
The project also called on a Yamaha MG-16 XU mixer, Sennheiser XSW-35 mic and a whole host of ceiling and wall-mount speakers from TOA. The remainder of the equipment installed was from brands including Cordial, Inter-M, Numark, Dali, Dennox, Climb, Sonos and Chauvet.
Good planning reportedly ensured this was a trouble-free installation and all concerned are pleased with the results. ‘Our company and our partners are pleased that such a large project has been successfully completed.
