Dante AV Networking World comes to Dubai

UAE: Audinate will be hosting its Dante AV Networking World conference in Dubai in October. The event, which coincides with InfoComm MEA, is one leg of a world tour for the educational gathering with further stops scheduled in Europe, Asia and the US.
Audinate describes the free all-day event as ‘designed for anyone interested in audio networking’, further stating that it will feature ‘presentations, training workshops and interactive panel discussions led by industry experts’. The Dubai event is co-sponsored by Bose, Focusrite RedNet, NTP, Roland, SSL, Symetrix, and Yamaha Commercial Audio. It will feature Dante-enabled product demonstrations from the sponsors and will give attendees the opportunity to learn about and see Dante-enabled products in action.
Agenda topics will include: an introduction to Dante, building a basic Dante network, troubleshooting a Dante network and using Dante Controller. In addition, there will be detailed system design presentations from three subject areas selected from topics including houses of worship, live sound, broadcast, corporate A/V systems, entertainment venues, transportation and educational facilities.
Audinate has scheduled the Dubai event for October 19th to 22nd. Seating is limited and interested participants are encouraged to register for the event via Audinate’s website.
