Darwish Technology takes on World Trade Center Contract

QATAR: Darwish Technology has taken on the audio visual contract for the hotel and apartment building at Doha’s World Trade Center. The company will provide the A/V, translation, theatrical lighting and control systems for the auditorium and convention hall in addition to the IPTV for the whole building.
The convention hall consists of a conference hall which can be divided into multiple venues. The audio will be through the Electro-Voice Evid ceiling mounted loud speakers. For special events where high quality sound with more bass is required, the hall has been provided with provisions for connecting DAS full range speakers and subwoofers. Panasonic ceiling mounted cameras are provided in the ceiling for live monitoring and recording, and it will be equipped with D-Lite projector screen and Sanyo projector recessed inside the ceiling with a projector bracket.
The conference hall is also equipped with a Codec HD video conferencing system and a podium consisting of the podium mic, DVD player, document camera, laptop connectivity to display on the screen. Wireless mic provision is provided from the rack in the dedicated A/V room.
The entire A/V system inside the conference rooms including the lights will be controlled through AMX touchscreens. Four wireless touchscreens will be kept in the podium and an additional wired touchscreen will be fitted on the side wall.
The equipment will be installed in such a way that it can operate as a two, three or four separate hall systems, or can be made to operate as single hall operated from the AMX touchscreens. Both the projectors can display the same source or different sources depending on the use of the hall.
The oval shaped auditorium features a 15,000 lumen high definition video projector and 5m x 6.6m motorised screen. The proposed sound system will be a high power line array for the first floor and back stage. There will also be 40-channel mixer and four wireless Sennheiser microphones.
Three floor boxes with two wall plates will be provided on the stage to connect any RGBHV source to the projector. Alternatively it can switch between other sources located in the auditorium A/V rack.
The auditorium will be equipped with an audio translation and interpretation system with four IR radiators to expand the signal coverage. To cover the audience, 100 IR receivers with headphones will also be provided.
The entire system inside auditorium including the lights is again controlled through AMX wireless touchscreens.
