Date opens with L-Acoustics

TURKEY: Date, the latest addition to Istanbul’s entertainment scene, has opened with a sound system from L-Acoustics. The French manufacturer’s local distributor, Elit Light and Sound Technologies, supplied the equipment to the new bar-restaurant.
Date is described as ‘a multifunctional meeting point for food and fashion’. On the first floor it serves as a bar-restaurant during the day, but after 11pm Date changes to serve as a pre-club. The venue presents a variety of musical styles as well as hosting international DJs and Friday night ‘Save the Date’ parties. All of these different events will use the new house PA system.
The solution installed at Date consists of 8XTi speakers from L-Acoustics’ coaxial series and SB18i subs. Power is via the manufacturer’s LA4 amplifiers.
