MENA: IBC Content Everywhere will return to Dubai for a second edition in November 2015. The event returns to the Emirate with new dates and a new location. It will take place at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel on the 29th and 30th of November.
The inaugural event was originally scheduled for a similar date in 2014 before being moved to January 2015. For the second event there will be a focus on the main topics at IBC2015 and it will include contributions from the key speakers in Amsterdam plus new international perspectives for the MENA region.
The audience on the first day will be drawn from C-level delegates, with the profile of the 250 delegates this time swinging towards MENA and some from Europe to contribute an international perspective. The second will open its doors to a wider audience of C-level executives and top management from the region. This audience of personally invited senior executives will be drawn from the broadcast, telecoms, media and content industries and these delegates will be hosted by IBC for two days of debate and networking in a conference environment.
Topics that will be discussed at the event include: Taking the industry’s pulse: an annual health check of the media business; Reinventing broadcasting: the rules are changing so what are the innovative technologies helping to break the mould?; The power of the digital-first players: So what?; Preparing for the future today: how to balance innovation with established broadcast models; and Telcos tune into broadcasting.
The MENA event will also see the launch of the IBC Regional Council; the aim of which is to bring together key regional players in a neutral, non-political forum, whereby significant regional issues can be debated and moved forward.
