Delta covers Doha fountain show

QATAR: Delta Sound has supplied the audio equipment for the Water Show which is part of the Qatar Summer Festival. The show, which is hosted by the Qatar Tourism Authority, spans over 200m of the shoreline around Doha’s corniche and features up to 150 pumps sending water over 40m into the air.
Delta was tasked with supplying an audio system to cover the audience area on the corniche. The system consists of 24 Martin Audio CX2 coaxial speakers with eight HK Audio Cadis CAD115 Subs for low end. Control is via a Yamaha MG124cx 8-channel mixing desk while power came from HK Audio and C-Audio amps.
‘As the show runs very close to the sea for a long starch of time, we have chosen to use a Martin Audio speaker system distributed along the promenade,’ commented lead sound engineer Mahesh Ramdin. ‘All shows are running on timecode to trigger water fountains and lighting.’
