Delta supplies Flash summer season

UAE: Delta Sound has supplied a range of equipment for Flash Entertainment’s summer season in Abu Dhabi. The Dubai-based rental house was chosen to provide audio and communications equipment for a variety of events taking place in the Emirates Palace Hotel and du Forum.
The first of the summer season theatre shows was dedicated to children and took place in the Emirates Palace Hotel. The Freej cartoon went live on stage, and Delta supplied FOH and monitor control packages comprising of a DiGiCo SD9 and Avid Profile, whilst HK Audio CT112s were used for monitors. beyerdynamic DT108 and DT109 headsets were part of the comms package used along with a Clear-Com party-line system and Tempest wireless units.
Following this, the company has also supplied equipment for shows including Cake Boss and a hugely anticipated appearance from Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan.
‘For the live show of the Cake Boss at the same venue (Emirates Palace), we used pretty much the same package for monitors, but microphone wise we supplied range of Shure and Countryman mics,’ recalled project manager Liam McGrath.
The company will also be supplying further summer performances promoted by Flash, including that of illusionist David Blaine.
