TURKEY: Turkish broadcaster, DigiTurk, has invested in X2Pro Audio Convert enterprise licences from Marquis Broadcast. The Istanbul-based facility will now use five copies of Marquis’ X2Pro for audio finishing as part of its postproduction workflow for all its in-house channels.
X2Pro uses Marquis’ Media Highway integrate Final Cut Pro X into professional audio workflows. Previously DigiTurk used Final Cut Pro 7. However, following an upgrade to Final Cut Pro X, DigiTurk needed to export and send audio to Pro Tools for audio finishing. Marquis’ X2Pro was reportedly selected on price and performance and will now be used for work on TV programmes, movies and series channels.
‘X2Pro’s functionality allows users to utilise the full advantages of Final Cut Pro X and Avid Pro Tools,’ said Tom Hassall, marketing manager for Marquis Broadcast. ‘The product saves time and improves the efficiency of audio finishing and now many leading organisations across the globe are enjoying the benefits that X2Pro brings to post production workflows.’
