DIS appoints NMK

MIDDLE EAST: Shure-owned conferencing equipment manufacturer Danish Intepretation Systems (DIS) has appointed NMK Middle East FZCO as its exclusive distributor for supplying its Conference Solution product range to Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Operating from Dubai Silicon Oasis, the new free zone entity will facilitate the new distribution arrangements that NMK has obtained in the past few months.
For 60 years, Danish Interpretation Systems has provided installed and rental solutions to the global meeting industry. Technologies include solutions for discussion, conferencing, interpretation, and parliamentary environments. Its parent company, Informationsteknik Scandinavia Group, was acquired by Shure Incorporated in 2011 taking DIS into Shure ownership. DIS is represented through a global partner network in more than 80 countries, and has offices in Europe, the Americas, and Asia as well as its Middle East site in Jebel Ali.
