DVA uses Tripleplay for Ramada IPTV

TURKEY: DVA Telecom and Information Technologies A.Ş. has called on Tripleplay’s IPTV and Interactive TV Portal solution for a number of Ramada installations in Turkey. The most recent project was for LG Hospitality TVs in 200 rooms as well as screens in public areas of the Ramada Airport Asia, in Sekerpinar Gebze. This follows a pair of previous installations at Ramada Altunizade and Ramada Tekstilkent in the past two years.
The major challenge for the project was the timescale. DVA had only three and a half months for the IPTV installation alongside the delivery of other systems and services, including UTC CCTV, Unify PBX, Cetis phones and the HP IP network.
‘With this implementation we are now present in more than 750 Ramada hotel rooms in Turkey and have built a great relationship with their business,’ said Tripleplay country manager for Turkey, Azat Camlibel. ‘DVA has done outstanding work in ensuring the hotel’s IPTV and IT systems were implemented and working before the hotel’s opening date. We are proud to have our technology in place at the Ramada Airport Asia hotel and look forward to working with them in the future.’
