Early enthusiasm for Mediatech Africa 2015

SOUTH AFRICA: Mediatech Africa has seen a good start to the stand sales process for its eighth biennial outing. A number of high profile companies have already booked space at the show which takes place from 15 to 17 July 2015 at the Dome at Northgate, Johannesburg.
Stand sales opened at the beginning of October 2014. Sound and Light City, Concilium Technologies, Audio Visual Centre, Viva Afrika, Peripheral Vision, DWR Distribution, Inala, Electrosonic SA, Timbre Broadcast Systems, Extron Electronics, Macro Video and Mitsubishi Electric have already confirmed places, while many other exhibitors have provisionally booked their stands.
Mediatech Africa 2013 saw a total of 6,935 visitors walk through the door over three days including 424 foreign visitors of which 197 were from the African continent. In total, 136 companies exhibited, collectively representing just short of 700 brands. Of these visitors, 37 pre cent were decision makers in their respective companies while 19 per cent filled senior management positions. That being said, 49 per cent of visitors had power of purchase while 30 per cent had influence of purchase.
