Eclipse covers National Day celebrations at Dubai Creek

UAE: Eclipse Staging Services provided the audio, visual and lighting equipment for the UAE National Day celebrations at the Dubai Creek. The company was appointed by Film Master to run the technical aspects of the production having worked together successfully on several previous projects.
For the main show, Eclipse provided a range of speakers from L-Acoustics and Adamson. The main PA was a line array system of 18 cabinets with eight subs for main left and right with 12 frontfills. In addition to this, there were eight relay stations for the general public to view the proceedings. These added up to a total of 64 cabinets with 16 subs. The signal was sent to the remote stations (two of which were on the opposite side of the creek) using microwave links.
The visual side of the event called for 28 projectors ranging from 8,000 – 35,000 ansi lumen HD Christie units. These were used to fire images and video onto main stage, onto the water and also to the sails of the Dhows used in the show. Further to this, there were also eight relay screens along both sides of the Creek to broadcast the show.
The lighting of the celebrations called for a range of over 200 moving lights which were used on the main stage plus both sides of Dubai Creek.
