Eclipse purchases OpticalCON fibre reels

UAE: Dubai-based production company Eclipse has recently invested in Neutrik OpticalCON fibre reels through local distributor Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK). THe purchase is designed to meet the needs of Eclipse’s video department.
Eclipse’s order included 10 fibre optic couplers and 100m of X-Treme multimode fibre on 10 drums terminated with Neutrik connectors. These can be used as separate runs or coupled together to get a 1km run when needed. The purchase will be used for connectivity to LED walls. It will enable the production company to send fibre video signals over long distances for its various corporate shows and concerts in the United Arab Emirates.
‘The feedback from Eclipse has been extremely positive,’ commented Pavel Aheunin, Neutrik sales specialist at NMK. ‘Whether the application is audio, lighting or video - transporting signal over fibre is becoming more and more possible in the live market due to Neutrik’s OpticalCON range which can both protect and provide consistent results.’
