Ecstatic Music Art Studios turns to Primacoustics

UAE: Melody House has supplied Dubai-based private studio Ecstatic Music Art Studios with an acoustic solution from Primacoustics. The studio has purchased two sets of the London 12 kits.
Although the music recording and production facility is used primarily by professionals, it also caters to young up and coming artists and its services will include both mixing and mastering.
The London 12 room kit is described by its manufacturer as a ‘studio in a box’ to convert a regular room into a functional recording environment. Designed for rooms that measure between 10 to 20 sq-m, the London 12 employs a variant of the popular live-end, dead-end LEDE concept whereby the source end of the room is fitted with increased absorption while the receive end of the room is left more lively to retain a sense of air and space.
‘The London 12s are an ideal kit for smaller rooms with two bass traps and near reflection absorbers,’ commented Simon Short, acoustics specialist at Melody House. ‘It solves most acoustical issues in one box.’
