Educational focus for Avid at Cabsat

UAE: Avid will be offering a number of educational opportunities at Cabsat. It will be involved with two of the major conferences as well as offering on-stand demonstrations of its products.
The manufacturer will be sponsoring the two day Middle East Post Production Training Conference this year taking place March 10th and 11th, with a daily session on Avid Media Composer. In addition to this, as part of the Cabsat NAB Conference this year, Jenane Mandour, production division director at Talpa Middle East, will join Avid to talk about the technology behind putting together The Voice and other popular TV shows in the region.
On its stand, Avid will offer presentations on postproduction, centred on an Avid | Production Asset Management and Avid Media Composer video editing software workflow. For broadcast production, it will offer workflow demonstrations focused on Avid | Media Asset Management and Avid Production Asset Management showcasing Avid iNEWS newsroom management system, MediaCentral | UX, Media | Distribute and Media | Director. The pro video editing aspect will be catered for with demonstrations of Avid Media Composer | Software, Avid Media Composer | Cloud, and the Artist Color control surface. On the professional sound mixing and editing side it will be showing Avid Pro Tools | Software, ProTools | First and the ProTools | S6 control surface.
In addition to this, the manufacturer will be showcasing a series of significant innovations to the Avid MediaCentral Platform and its associated modular application suites.
