Elit hosts DiGiCo and L-Acoustics demo day

TURKEY: Elit Light/Sound Technologies recently hosted a demo day to introduce L-Acoustics’ Arcs Wide and Arcs Focus series together with DiGiCo sound consoles at the Renaissance Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel. The demo day saw significant participation from sound professionals from Istanbul and around the country.
The day began with a welcoming speech from Elit general manager Emre Defne before presentations from DiGiCo’s James Bradley and L-Acoustics’ Tim McCall. Mr Bradley covered the technology behind the SD Series of consoles, while Mr McCall discussed the Arcs Wide and Focus systems. Following this, application engineer David Brooks used equipment from both manufacturers in a demonstration of the products. The new L-Acoustics speakers reportedly received praise from the local sound professionals.
In addition to the DiGiCo SD11, SD10, SD9 and SD8 sound consoles, participants had the opportunity to test other L-Acoustics products including Kilo, Kiva, 12XT, 108P, SB15P, and 115XT HiQ at the event.
Elit Light/Sound Technologies sales manager Ünsal Çakır said that the distributor was very pleased with the attention that it received with professionals coming from outside Istanbul and described it as a success for both DiGiCo and L-Acoustics.
