EGYPT: A new Egyptian distribution company entered the market at the recent Cairo MET show. Cairo-based Enapro (Egypt North Africa Professional) chose the exhibition to launch itself to the country’s assembled media and entertainment industry, reportedly receiving many visits from consultants, end users and contractors.
‘We have started Enapro to cater to the retail market, particularly the MI area,’ explained managing director Eman Attia. ‘This area in Egypt is covered by very few professional companies and we see we have a good chance of taking a big market share with a strong company portfolio, experienced staff and the strength of our partner’s network.’
The first major brands to sign with the new distributor are Electro-Voice and Neutrik on the audio side and Martin Professional for lighting. Enapro is the first sole distributor Neutrik has appointed for Egypt and the distributor will target the local retail market with a quality connector solution. With Electro-Voice, the company will distribute the brand’s electronics, microphones and speakers. It will target the MI market as well as various vertical markets such as hotels, restaurants, bars and cinemas.
‘The strength we have is that we have a good stock of everything,’ said Mrs Attia, ‘which means that customers can find everything they need on the spot without having to wait for deliveries. We also have trained staff and very qualified service centre technicians with available spare parts, connectors, cables, lamps and almost everything needed to repair old equipment.’
Enapro will be led by the management team of CEO Nour Assafiri and managing director Eman Attia.
