Eve Redero joins APG’s R&D team

WORLD: APG has reinforced its R&D department with the appointment of Eve Redero as electronics manager.

Having graduated from the Ecole des Mines engineering faculty in St Etienne, Ms Redero is a fully qualified civil engineer specialising in microelectronics and nanotechnology. This specialisation led to her completing her final internship at APG where she also prepared her thesis on the development of filtering and signal processing functions of the latest generation of digital signal processors. Ms Redero is also a classical guitarist and speaks French and English.

‘I’m delighted to be joining APG to head up their electronics R&D,’ Ms Redero enthused. ‘It’s a wonderful opportunity for me to combine my two passions – science and music – within a dynamic and innovative company where every role counts. The team here has made me extremely welcome and I hope to be able to contribute to the success of APG.’

‘The appointment of Eve Redero both illustrates and reinforces the approach we have adopted for several years now: that of a true innovator in the realms of acoustics, electronics and ergonomics, and therefore as a company that contributes to the development of professional audio as a whole,’ commented Gregory Dapsanse, general manager of APG France.

‘The keys to this approach are scientific rigor and objectivity,’ he continued. ‘It is extremely rare to come across someone with an engineering degree from Les Mines in a niche industry such as ours, so it is with undisguised pride that we welcome Eve whose values and scientific prowess already guarantee her a glowing career in the audio industry, and especially here with us at APG. We have entrusted her with the role of electronics manager, and she is starting at an ideal time for us with the forthcoming launch of a number of new electronics solutions from APG during 2013.’
