EVI adds to EMEA tech support team

EMEA: Andreas Köstlinger has joined EVI Audio GmbH in the position of technical support – mobile audio EMEA. In his new position, Mr Köstlinger will be the contact partner for tech support solutions as well as training opportunities.
‘In the course of my many years working in the live sector, I became intimately acquainted with, and quickly learnt to appreciate, the reliability and quality of products from EVI Audio,’ said Mr Köstlinger. ‘As technical support manager, it is important that I not only know the products inside-out but that I am also able to identify myself with them.’
Since graduating in electrical engineering, Mr Köstlinger was involved initially in the planning, marketing, and service of audiovisual and pro audio equipment before becoming a freelance sound, audiovisual, front-of-house, and system engineer. For nine years, he provided the sound reinforcement for countless tours and corporate events. More recently, he worked with a firm of consultant engineers specialising in environmental protection, where his responsibilities included the measurement of emissions, the compiling of reports on such measurements, the development of digital models for emissions forecasts, and the provision of expert testimony and advice on questions relating to sound technology.
