Expanding MediaCast equips Creativa

UAE: Dubai-based distributor MediaCast has recently equipped new postproduction studio Creativa with three Avid Pro Tools suites. Rising demand in the region from projects such as this has also seen the company move to new larger offices.
Creativa is a post production studio, set up and run by Saed Duzdar. MediaCast supplied two Pro Tools HD Native suites and an HDX system with a C24 controller. The studio will be in full operation as of August 1st, offering a variety of post production services.
‘It is exciting to see the current demand for the latest Pro Tools HD systems,’ said MediaCast’s Simon Short. ‘The processing power of Pro Tools HDX and HD Native, have allowed studios such as Saed’s to operate compact and extremely powerful suites, ideal for post production work.’
It is demand such as this that has led to MediaCast increasing its footprint in Dubai Media City. As part of the company’s expansion plans and a result of its recent growth, it has moved to new 325 sq-m offices in Al Thuraya Tower 1.
On the retail side, the MediaCast showroom in Jumeirah’s Palmstrip Mall has been revamped. The showroom now has a new theme, complete with a comprehensive range of professional A/V equipment from major brands. A dedicated demo studio featuring audio and video workflows from production to post has been set up in the showroom to give users an experience of using the products.
