IRAN: FBT and its distributor Shidco have hosted the manufacturer’s first seminar in Tehran. The event took place at the Almas Salon of the Ferdowsi International Grand Hotel and registered the participation of 150 guests, including Shidco's dealers, contractors, rental companies and technicians.
The workshop was introduced by Mamoud Moghadas Darab, owner of Shidco, who introduced both Roberto Mataloni and Remo Orsoni, respectively export manager and product manager of FBT to personally present the event. A wide selection of FBT products were displayed and demoed to the attendees with close attention paid to the features and applications.
Mr Mataloni gave his welcome and personal introduction in Farsi and soon after switched back to English for introducing FBT, its factory and technologies, history and future, as well introducing the company’s various product ranges. The event carried on with Mr Orsoni delivering an extensive workshop on the technologies and unique features of the FBT’s various products to control sound directivity and simulation software. Simulation and remote control software for FBT MLA and DLA systems was also covered as well as FBT LAM and an introduction to EASE Focus 2. The presentation concluded with a demo session of the products displayed. All attendees received a FBT Certificate of Attendance signed by FBT’s managers and Shidco’s owner.
The event also saw Mr Mataloni congratulating Mr Darab and Shidco by presenting them with an Award of Outstanding Business Achievement signed by FBT’s CEO Bruno Tanoni attesting to the solid business relationship between the two companies.
‘We have been extremely happy and honoured to have had the opportunity to carry out a successful seminar in Tehran. Shidco have truly organised the event well and we have been welcomed very warmly,’ commented Mr Mataloni. ‘Our mission with these activities is to deliver the FBT “gospel” in the best possible way and be available to our customers to answer to their questions, help them to learn more about our products, help them to do better business through our products and, when necessary, clear their doubts.’
‘For me this is a further confirmation that when activities like these are well planned and organised the results are naturally positive and the efforts and energies we pour when we try to give the correct message are surely not wasted,’ added Mr Orsoni.
‘FBT is a truly professional company with a clear view ahead and an amazing customer care,’ said Mr Darab. ‘This event we have organised together has been tremendously important for us since its benefit will greatly help us to turn more business through a better informed dealer network. We shall be looking forward to the next event to continue on this positive track.’
