Fonestar in the mix at Cocktail Kitchen

UAE: Newly opened bar and restaurant, Cocktail Kitchen, has been equipped with an audio solution consisting of products from Fonestar, Sonance and Symetrix. The system was supplied by I-Tech Distribution and installed by IT-Serve.
Situated in the Armada Hotel in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Cocktail Kitchen offers a high-quality mix of food and drinks, complimented by a relaxed atmosphere. Key to this atmosphere is the sound system. The bulk of the solution comes from Spanish manufacturer Fonestar. Nine of its Prisma-55BTW cabinets along with five Prisma-125T have been installed around the venue with a further seven GAT-562 ceiling speakers. Twelve CM660 ceiling speakers from Sonance complete the loudspeaker installation.
The system is powered by a pair of Fonestar FS-4200E multi-channel amplifiers alongside the manufacturer’s SA-4150 and SA-403 units. Processing is handled by a Symetrix Solus 8 DSP with a pair of Arc-2e interfaces offering control.
‘Fonestar was great for this project due to the affordability of the brand with good performance,’ said I-Tech pro division director, Glen Kershaw. ‘I’m very pleased with how it sounds and looks for such a cool and unique spot. It has an awesome atmosphere to it in which I’m sure will be very popular amongst the Dubai crowd.’
