Foujan covers Iranian leader’s lecture

IRAN: Foujan loudspeakers were used to cover a significant portion of the two hectare site for the annual lecture of Iranian supreme leader Seyed Ali Khamenei in the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini. With several hundred thousand people in attendance, including ambassadors, international politicians and army generals, as well as broadcast on Iranian TV and radio, the lecture explored Iranian politics and the future.

Avaye Fallah Co has been the sound system rental company of choice for the event for a number of years. This year it opted for a Foujan S500 system to cover 70 per cent of the main area. The reason behind selecting the self-powered two way system was reportedly due to its clarity in the vocal range and its ability to control the sound in a very reverberant space.

In total, 20 S500 cabinets were used to cover 70 per cent of the site. In addition to this, FBT line arrays and RCF cabinets were also used for the event.
