GDL opts for Shure

UAE: The Dubai branch of Giochi di Luce (GDL) has invested in Shure’s ULX-D wireless system as part of an upgrade to its wireless mic options. The sale was made through local Shure distributor, Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK).

The sale has seen GDL purchase 30 channels of ULX-D series including ULXD-4D and ULXD4. Added to this are 16 ULXD2/B58 wireless handheld transmitter units, the same number of ULXD1 beltpacks with MX150B lavalier microphones, four Beta 57A super cardioid instrument microphones, four SM81-LC instrument condenser microphones, four A98D miniature cardioid condenser microphones, two Beta 98H/C clip-on condenser wired microphones for saxophone and six MX418D/C gooseneck microphones with desktop base.

‘We have replaced our whole inventory of wireless microphones with the Shure ULXD series. We have also purchased a lot of Shure wired microphones to add to our inventory,’ said Shelton Fernandes, head of audio department at GDL. ‘Being able to monitor every single channel within a network makes things a lot easier during the events. We have even used the Shure Plus Channels app running via an iPad on our events and it worked flawlessly.

‘Being a long time Shure user, these products offer great reliability and support for every situation we come across,’ continued Mr Fernandes. ‘We are extremely satisfied with our purchase and the support from the NMK team who are always willing to help and resolve any situation.’
