UAE: Snoop Dogg made his UAE debut at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island celebrating the launch of his 11th studio album Doggumentary. Handling the audio, video and lighting for the event promoter Flash Entertainment was Gearhouse Staging Connections.

On the audio side, the main PA consisted of L-R hangs of 30 L-Acoustics V-Doscs and four dV-Doscs. Low end came from 30 SB218s. Ten dV-Doscs were used for centrefill, while 16 more of the cabinets and four dV-Subs provided outfill. Power came from 64 L-Acoustics LA48A amps and speaker management was from four XTA DP226s and two DP448s.

Sidefills saw the company opt for six EAW KF850EFD3 speakers and six of the manufacturer’s SB528RD2 subs. For power, three Crown MA600, three MA2400 and seven MA3600VZ amps were in use while speaker management came from a dbx DriveRack 480.
