SAUDI ARABIA: The world’s first installation of Sennheiser’s Audio Distribution Network (ADN) has been completed at the Chamber of Commerce in Jazan, Saudi Arabia. The manufacturer started shipping the conference system in June, and within a month the first installed units were operational at the site.
Local systems integrator, Moon Systems, has installed a 20 delegate, one chairman system in the boardroom of Jazan Chamber of Commerce which is being used by many of the city’s most important officials.
‘We discovered the ADN system through Sennheiser Middle East. After seeing its powerful features, expandability, ability to be easily updated and classy appearance, we had no hesitation in recommending it to the Chamber of Commerce,’ said Bader Al Zahrani, Moon Systems projects manager. ‘It required minimal installation and client demonstration time. We believe the ADN system will add to the sophistication of any contemporary conference room.’
‘This system is a major addition to our boardroom facilities. The quality of the sound is exceptional,’ added Jazan Chamber of Commerce representative Hasan Jawhri.
The digital system comprises a central unit and two conference terminal options, one for a conference manager and the other for the participants. It uses two custom-designed Sennheiser loudspeakers and a Sennheiser microphone capsule within both the delegate and chairman units. One highlight of the system is a fully integrated software package within the central unit, which features an integrated PC. Connecting a screen and keyboard gives the system’s administrator standalone configuration and monitoring control for the entire system.
‘The ADN system is perfect for an installation like Jazan Chamber of Commerce, where the customer needs a stylish and discrete conference system for a boardroom with future-proof technology and the highest quality audio reproduction,’ says Mig Cardamone, business area manager for Sennheiser Middle East.
