GrandMA2 controls Amway’s celebration dinner

SOUTH AFRICA: Kilowatt AV provided a significant amount of lighting equipment for Amway’s recent 20th anniversary celebration dinner at Botsalanong Boma in Sun City. Lighting control was a grandMA2 full-size and the lighting fixtures included Clay Paky Sharpy and multiple Robe moving lights, together with Robert Juliat Aramis follow spots and Philips Showline SL Nitro 510 Strobes.
Red Hot Events, commissioned Kilowatt AV to deliver the full technical and set solution for the event. The production company designed and manufactured giant animal heads which helped create the overall Pilanesburg National Park backdrop. The company also supplied six 3m diameter helium balloons, printed with the Amway logo, which floated above the crowd.
‘The client’s expectations were exceeded with our custom set and decor elements,’ said Neil Zaayman, national sales manager for Kilowatt AV. ‘Kilowatt AV is very strong at this style of custom theming.’
