High Level invests in MicroWedge

LEBANON: Beirut-based rental company High Level has added to its EAW-based inventory by purchasing the manufacturer’s MicroWedge stage monitors.
‘We started two years ago with 16 EAW JFL210 constant curvature line array cabinets, 12 JFL118 subwoofers and some active speakers that worked as speakers and floor monitors,’ said High Level general manager Georges Cherfan. ‘A few months later we found ourselves working with the most popular Lebanese bands and some international acts so we decided to upgrade our monitoring world to a higher level.’
The company researched the market to look for a quality monitoring solution. For Mr Cherfan, the combination of Dave Rat and EAW made MicroWedge ‘one of the top wedges in the market’. This, plus its ‘very high power handling and light weight’ led to High Level’s decision to invest in the coaxial monitors, purchasing eight MW15s and one MicroSub powered by Lab.gruppen amps.
‘For the last two months we have been testing these wedges and pushing them to the edge with different types of bands,’ explained Mr Cherfan. ‘Since all the musicians went home very happy I can say that MicroWedge was the perfect choice and we are totally satisfied especially with the SPL that it delivers before feedback.’
