TURKEY: The new Culture Centre at the Hisar Educational Foundation has been equipped with a range of products from Turkish distributor Elit Sound and Light Technologies. The installation covers sound, light and communication systems.
For the main sound system the school has installed a left-centre-right setup of L-Acoustics Kiva and Kilo line source array cabinets. Six Kiva and two Kilo have been flown per side with a further three Kiva and one Kilo for the centre hang. Low end comes from a pair of the manufacturer’s SB28 subwoofers sat on either side of the stage. The system is powered via L-Acoustics LA8 amps, and a DiGiCo SD8 console has been installed to mix performances. At the other end of the signal chain, a range of Schoeps microphones are in use. A clear-Com intercoms system has also been installed and Radial Engineering DI boxes complete the audio installation.
On the lighting side, Elit has also supplied the venue with Robert Juliat 613 and 614 profile spots as well as the manufacturer’s Tivoli dimmers.
The Hisar Education Foundation has been in existence for over three decades and it has opened the new Culture Centre at its school in Kemerburgaz near Istanbul. The centre will be used for a number of events, such as student performances and large productions.
