HK Audio chosen by AV Concepts

UAE: Dubai-based rental firm AV Concepts, has recently purchased a complement of HK Audio CT 108 compact touring cabinets from regional representative Melody House. To date, the distributor has supplied 50 units of the cabinet to various rental companies across the country.
‘Since the first CT 108 sale, these cabinets have been very popular,’ said HK Audio’s head of international sales, Christian Stumpp. ‘We have been with Melody House for less than a year so we are really happy that things have been moving that fast and they have several of our products established in the market. It’s pretty exciting because our products are starting to move into several rental companies. For us the UAE is a new market and we can really see that going with a dedicated distributor for the area helps a lot.’
Part of the ConTour range, the CT 108 is a passive full range loudspeaker intended for multiple applications including front of house deployment, placement as a delay speaker or use onstage for monitoring. However, Mr Stumpp added that HK Audio in general is finding a home in the UAE market more quickly than expected, explaining that ‘products like the CT 108, Elements systems, and Icon self-powered systems have gone through the roof compared to how long it takes in other countries. We are really happy about this.’
Dino Drimakis, business development manager at Melody House, added that the loudspeakers ‘compact nature allows companies like AV Concepts to use them in various manners for different kind of events.’
