Info Group takes on Martin Audio for Turkey

TURKEY: Martin Audio and Info Group used Pro Light and Sound to announce a new exclusive distribution agreement for Turkey. ‘There is a really good market in Turkey at the moment,’ said Ozge Can, foreign trade manager and acoustic engineer, Info Group. ‘We have a good partner in Martin Audio, and are proud to be the new exclusive distributor in the country.
‘Martin Audio have a good reputation and they are very well known in Turkey,’ Ms Can added. ‘However, we would like to add to that to put their name on top. Since we began talking about the distribution agreement after ISE, we started to receive a lot of feedback from our customers who are really happy to get Martin Audio under the Info Group name. We also provide the installation for projects, which is another key thing for the customers – we are not just selling, we are doing projects, acoustic checks and all simulations.‘
‘We wanted to find a partner that was dynamic and that very much targeted all of the market sectors in which we work: installation, cinema, live sound, nightclubs – a company that could really fit the bill to go forward and penetrate all of those markets,’ added Dominic Jacobson, export sales manager, Martin Audio.
‘We looked at the calibre of the installations that they were working on, and we found that they are actually a turnkey project solutions provider as well,’ he explained. ‘We were really interested in that as they are doing their own projects, but also working with installers as well. The great thing about them is that if certain elements are missing from a project from an installation point for view, they can provide them. They’ve got a wide variety of skills and it really works for our markets.
‘We visited a top installer and a rental company in Istanbul, and Info Group’s customers could not speak highly enough of them,’ he enthused. ‘I was really impressed with the whole team. They ticked every single box.’
