IPS Events adds to Audio-Technica inventory

UAE: Dubai-based IPS Events has recently added to its Audio-Technica inventory by purchasing six units of ES 915C18 gooseneck microphones. The mics were purchased with the intension of being used in confined spaces where a good control of multiple microphones is required.
Speaking on his intentions for the new purchases, IPS Events’ Graham Rushforth said: ‘We produce a lot of conferences in large venues that sometimes have low ceilings, even as low as 3m. Now, in these situations, keeping eight delegates on open mics, (as is the case with a studio style environment), when all are talking at random times in a very small space, is problematic. It can be hard to avoid feedback and ceiling bounce back.’
Continuing, he said: ‘I am always happy with Audio-Technica. Wired lapels give us the control we need, and ensure the audience get the full and clear picture through good quality sound. Secondly, they are so lightweight, we can take them to many of our overseas shows and conferences, including Singapore, Turkey, Kenya and around the Gulf,’ he enthused.
Commenting on his reasons for expanding the company’s existing Audio-Technica inventory, Mr Rushforth said: ‘I have produced over 300 high profile events and conferences using Audio-Technica, and am yet to be let down.’
