K-Club opens with Dynacord

RWANDA: Situated in Kigali’s Brima Business Centre, K-Club recently opened its doors with a sound system from Dynacord. The solution was installed by Audio Visual Engineering Kenya Ltd (AVE), the manufacturer’s distributor in East, West and Central Africa.
‘Dynacord enjoys an excellent reputation in the industry based on countless prestige references that include some of the largest and best clubs in the world,’ explained AVE's Omar Abdalla. In view of the size of the club, a solution was needed in which the enclosures were relatively compact yet capable of delivering powerful sound and homogeneous coverage. ‘The D-Lite system was therefore ideally suited. Not only is it top notch in terms of sound quality, but it also provided the ideal complement to the visual aesthetic of the club.’
To provide the coverage, Mr Abdalla and his team installed four D-Lite D12W 12-inch two-way loudspeakers, two Sub 118 subwoofers, and four D8W 8-inch two-way loudspeakers for each of the club’s two dance floors. ‘The D-Lite D12W cabinets deliver a linear frequency response, powerful and natural sound reproduction, and crystal-clear resolution throughout their entire frequency range,’ said Mr Abdalla. ‘For this reason, they represent the ideal solution for the most distinguished clubs, of which the K-Club is certainly one.’
The installation also features two Dynacord D 8A DJ monitors, two DSP 260 sound system managers, and a variety of the manufacturer’s power amplifiers – four SL 2400s and two SL 1800s.
‘I never compromise on quality,’ explained K-Club's managing director, Emile Mulego. ‘We invested heavily in importing most of the equipment, in the renovation of the building, and in the artistic design of the club, giving it a new look that greatly enhances our guests’ experience here.’
