King Abdulaziz Center adds Microtech Gefell

SAUDI ARABIA: The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture in Dhahran has added four Microtec Gefell M 930 microphones to its inventory. The sale was made through Riyadh-based First Gulf Company (FGC).
The manufacturer has seen a lot of success in the broadcast market in Saudi Arabia in recent years, with FGC installing its microphones into a number of broadcast studios. The manufacturer puts this popularity down to its ‘universal use, small and compact design – it is the smallest large diaphragm microphone which you can find on the market‘.
For this application the four M 930s will be used for theatrical performances in the main auditorium. The microphones will be available for occasional use on stands rather than as a fixed install.
