KV2 completes energy saving renovation at its 7,500 sq-m facility

WORLD: KV2 Audio recently completed an extensive energy saving renovation project at its 7,500 sq-m facility at Milevsko in the Czech Republic.

The energy saving external renovation involved new insulation and double glazed windows, and was implemented to reduce costs and provide a more comfortable work environment for KV2 Audio’s ever-expanding staff numbers. The internal renovation included building new offices and meeting room facilities, along with introducing additional production and testing spaces.

Meanwhile, a high-tech painting facility is currently under construction on the ground floor of the four-storey building, as is large anechoic chamber for speaker testing.

‘Our goal was to complete all external renovations over the summer and then concentrate on the internal fit out and installation of manufacturing lines and facilities during the winter,’ explained CEO George Krampera Jnr. ‘By spring 2013 we should have most of our planned renovations and manufacturing expansion completed and will be ready to take KV2 Audio to the next level with respect to product development and production.’
