Lebanon Parliament elects Taiden

LEBANON: The Parliament Building of Lebanon in Beirut has installed a digital congress system from Taiden. Following the acceptance of the local authorities, the system has now been officially put into use.

In total, 24 sets of Taiden digital congress systems have been installed in 24 meeting rooms of varying sizes in the Parliament Building. The installation combines 24 fully digital congress system main units, over 400 contribution units, 250 fully digital channel selectors and 100 seats with eight-channel digital infra-red distribution system.

Additionally, the Main Assembly Hall was also equipped with an intelligent central control system. The Hall now features discussion, simultaneous interpretation, voting, dual system hot spare, automatic video tracking, synchronous audio and video reading and central control. Contribution units have been flush mounted on desks and channel selectors have been installed into the arm rests of meeting chairs.
