Loud N Clear covers Majida el Roumy

LEBANON: Beirut-based rental company, Loud N Clear, was selected by event management company, Ice, to provide the sound system for the recent Majida el Roumy performance at the Jounieh International Festival. The concert provided the rental house with the opportunity to use its new Martin Audio stage monitors for the first time.
The performance took place in the Fouad Chehab stadium. In order to cover the 5,000 strong crowd, Loud N Clear utilised its Martin Audio Longbow system. The main PA consisted of 20 W8LC with four W8LCD. Outfill was 16 W8LC while infill was via a pair of W8LMs. Low end was catered for by 16 S218 subs. In terms of the new equipment on stage, Loud N Clear used 16 LE1200 as well as a pair of Martin Audio’s LE2100 wedges and six XD12.
Power for the system was via Lab.gruppen amps with control from XTA. FOH engineer, Elie Chikane, specified a Midas Pro 9 while monitor engineer, Jo Chikane, used a Midas Pro 2. The 80-piece band used a comprehensive mic package including units from Shure, Sennheiser, DPA, AKG and Neumann.
