LEBANON: Beirut-based production company, Loud N Clear has recently undergone training for its DiGiCo SD10 work surface and SD-Rack connected using Madi. The training took place at the production company’s facility and was led by DiGiCo technical sales engineer Fernando Delgado.
‘The main objective of the visit to Loud N Clear was to provide extensive technical training covering the hardware and the software,’ explained Mr Delgado. ‘We first covered the SD-Rack and its operations. The main characteristics of the SD-Rack such as the Madi splits and the multiple “Gain Tracking” options were covered at this stage. We also covered the SD10 work-surface hardware before focusing on the SD software.
‘The complete software was deeply explained,’ continued Mr Delgado. ‘We covered everything from simple things such as the file managing system to all the more complex operation procedures such as the automation system, the multiple routing matrixes of the system, the audio I/O configuration, the virtual recording capabilities and all the processes that can be applied to the signal using the multiple tools available in the system.’
Following the training, the Loud N Clear team are more confident with the equipment. ‘After the training it's so easy to use,’ noted Loud N Clear’s Roger Bou Farhat, adding that the console will be coming out on the road with the team for future events.
‘The Loud N Clear technical team that attended the training session showed a very high level of knowledge and experience, hence resulting in a very dynamic training which made it very easy to explain and a wonderful experience from the trainer point of view,’ concluded Mr Delgado.
