Matrix Rentals adds to range with Roland

UAE: Matrix Rentals has purchased a Roland P-10 visual sampler from the manufacturer’s local representative Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK). The Dubai-based rental company is a provider of audio-visual services as well as entertainers for numerous events across the United Arab Emirates.
The P-10 from Roland is a playback unit for both video and still images. In addition to being able to recall images, live effects such as speed and colour of the content can be implemented during an event. The unit also allows for the end user to capture content and store it in one of the quick recall pads on the fly. Another feature is the V-Link port, which allows content to be triggered by V-Link devices such as several Roland music instruments.
‘Corporate events have quite a bit of playback material for their events, the P-10 allows production companies to quickly organise, recall and apply effects if necessary to prepared material,’ commented Moswain Antao, NMK’s Roland video specialist. ‘The P-10 also has audio outputs so it can technically be also used as an instant replay unit for any audio content making it a versatile yet affordable solution.’
