MediaCast hosts Pro Tools 11 training

UAE: Dubai-based Avid distributor MediaCast recently hosted a training event on the recently launched Pro Tools 11. The Pro Tools 11 Clinic took place in the demo facilities of the distributor’s Showroom in Jumeirah.
MediaCast’s audio experts, Gustave Miranda and Simon Short, demonstrated Pro Tools 11, its enhancements and the differences from the previous versions. Attended by ProTools users and new enthusiasts, the clinic gave the attendees an opportunity to have a hands-on experience with the new software.
‘I’m very excited to be demonstrating the new features of Pro Tools 11,’ said Mr Miranda. ‘This is what everyone has been waiting for I still can’t get over how delightfully fast and stable the new audio engine is. The other amazing feature is offline bouncing - no more hour long waits for those in the dubbing industry...I am quite sure this version will be extremely popular this year.’
In other news, MediaCast has just launched its new website. The site has a new layout, content, and a support portal and knowledge base.
