Mobile theatre opts for EV

SOUTH AFRICA: Joburg Theatre’s mobile truck has been equipped with an Electro-Voice XLD line array system. The solution was supplied by the manufacturer’s local distributor, Prosound.
The truck has been fitted with eight EV XLD281 compact line array cabinets and four of the manufacturer’s TX2181 dual 18-inch subwoofers. The system is powered by six Electro-Voice Q1212 amplifiers while the solution is completed with a pair of Dx46 sound processors.
‘In this application, the ratio between the performance of Electro-Voice’s XLD line array and the cost involved prove a win for its use outdoor situations,’ stated the distributor.
