New COO and VP of product development at Vaddio

WORLD: Vaddio has appointed Mark Steen to the position of chief operating officer and Darrin Thurston to the role of VP of product development.
Originally joining the company in 2007, Mr Steen has worked as Vaddio’s product manager and was a member of the brand’s management team. Vaddio describes Mr Steen as an ‘integral part of the organisation’, and during the past five years he has collaborated on many of the manufacturer’s successful products.
Meanwhile, Mr Thurston joins Vaddio from ClearOne Communications where he served as vice president of product management, overseeing the conferencing product lines department. Here, Mr Thurston is said to have been ‘instrumental in introducing a new class of USB and telephony conferencing products’.
