New Egyptian distributor for Nox

EGYPT: Waveburg AVL has become the exclusive distributor of Nox Audio in Egypt. The deal came about after the distributor spent considerable time looking for a company that could fill a gap in its product offering.
‘Nox Audio covered the gap in our products range,’ explained Mohamed Ghanem, managing director at Waveburg AVL. ‘We are mainly specialised in pro audio as we represent Waveburg Pro, XTA, and Powersoft amongst others, so now we can integrate PA and pro audio together.’
The distributor reportedly spent over 18 months evaluating various public address brands before partnering with Nox. ‘We contacted Nox Audio a year ago and spent a lot of time in comparison against two other brands,’ recalled Mr Ghanem. ‘Nox Audio covers all our requirements. It offers high power, high quality 60W ceiling speakers, simple audio matrix, stadium horns plus a wide variety of speakers. At the same time, they have IP solutions which are a part of many installations now.’
Mr Ghanem believes that Nox is the right brand to bring to the Egyptian market at the moment, and the initial successes the distributor has had go a long way to prove this point. The distributor has already won contracts within various retail chains as well as a large shopping mall.
