New entrepreneur scheme from twofour54

UAE: twofour54 has launched a new entrepreneurship scheme and Business Centre facility as it looks to boost the local media and entertainment industry. The newly launched entrepreneurship scheme is the latest move by twofour54 to provide services and commit on a larger scale.

The scheme is initially targeted at Emirati entrepreneurs, allowing them to obtain a licence in the media zone without the need to rent office space. The company will be provided with two visas for staff and given assistance in developing and growing its business. The Business Centre facility, meanwhile, will allow multiple users to utilise a single physical work station at different times. This model reportedly allows SMEs to set up at a low cost and will widen the entrepreneurial talent pool providing support to partners in the media community.

‘At twofour54 we embrace entrepreneurial spirit and the volume of entrepreneurs setting up businesses in the UAE continues to grow year on year. We want to be more flexible in the services we offer to make sure local talent gets as much assistance as possible,’ said Noura Al Kaabi, chief executive officer at twofour54. ‘This latest move will provide young start-ups with an opportunity that would have otherwise not been possible and will enhance twofour54’s ecosystem by offering new options to entrepreneurs. Reinforcing and empowering young people to fulfil their creative potential is vital to building and sustaining our media and entertainment industries.’
