New international sales manager at Optocore

WORLD: Optocore GmbH has announced the appointment of Mark Davidson as its new international sales and marketing manager.
Based at the company’s headquarters in Munich, Mr Davidson’s global remit will include the EMEA territories, Russia and Pacific Asia. His main priority will be to focus on these core markets and develop a direct and indirect sales strategy, whilst simultaneously reviewing Optocore’s global partners.
‘The company has great technology and a strong foothold in the broadcast, live and fixed installation markets,’ commented Mr Davidson. ‘The potential is huge and I’m really excited — I’m sure we can expand the company exponentially.’
Mr Davison was previously based in North America and Europe where he gained experience in networking systems for broadcast and live applications. Formerly working for Advantech Wireless Ltd selling networking systems and satellite uplink and downlink equipment, his most recent position was working in international sales and marketing at Riedel Communications and Clear-Com Communications.
