Newbass adds L-Acoustics

SOUTH AFRICA: Pretoria-based rental company, Newbass, has added to its inventory with the purchase of an L-Acoustics Arcs Wide/Focus system. The purchase was made through the manufacturer’s local distributor, Sound Harmonics.
Newbass has taken delivery of 12 L-Acoustics cabinets. This is made up of two of the Arcs Wide and four Arcs Focus. Low end support for the solution comes from six SB18m subs, while the power is via a pair of LA8 amps. It is the latest in a number of ‘WiFo’ systems that has been sold by the distributor into southern Africa.
